For filmer Connor Hookway, the concept for this edit was simple: Post up at the best waves on the Gold Coast during the most rippable days of the summer, and capture all of the action. Snapper and the surrounding area are home to some of the best surfers in the world, so finding talent to film is never a problem.
After a few months, with a hard drive full of Gold Coast gold, Hookway cherry picked his favorite clips and edited them to a timeless LCD Soundtrack track, and the result is a simple, beautiful, high-action edit — titled, simply: “Gold Coast Surfing.”
