Huge surf and stormy weather are currently pounding the Hawaiian Islands and Oahu’s North Shore is feeling it.
Beachfront homeowners are threatened by erosion, The Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational and the Hurley Pro Sunset Beach have been called off, and big wave surfers are charging Jaws and Waimea Bay.
But before the 25-foot waves stole the show in the surf world, the North Shore was blessed with a solid run of smaller, nearly perfect surf. And Mason and Coco Ho got lucky and scored as seen in the edit below.

The latest footage of Mason and Coco— the offspring of surf legend Michael and niece and nephew of the late Derek Ho— is courtesy of Ho & Pringle Productions. It’s captioned:
“Mason Ho surfs 3 times on a brand new Surfboard that breaks his heart at the end of this video.”
It’s almost 10 minutes of pure surfing on the North Shore. In addition to the Hos, the cast of shredders includes Sheldon Paishon, Caity Simmers, Filipe Toledo, and Lucas Casitty.
