Remember Brenden “Margo” Margieson?
Known for doing huge turns on long surfboards in the late 90s and early 00s, Margieson had an unmistakable style: He was stylish, powerful, and buried more rail than anyone in the world at the time.
Fast forward 20 years, and Margo’s son, Micah, is a spitting image of his father in the water. We know the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and that genetics play a huge roll in appearance and personality, but how about that frontside wrap? Or his smooth double clutch bottom turn? Apparently Micah was hardwired to surf just like like Margo
Where most early 20’s surfers are working on airs (and he can do those as well), Micah is more interested in perfecting his technique and rail work, and by doing so, he’s looking more and more like Dad by the day. Click play above to watch the younger Margieson lay rail on a rippable right point. Like father, like son.
