Eleven-time world champ Kelly Slater has a lot going on.
He’s narrating a Julian Assange movie, shows presidential hopefuls around the North Shore, created a signature watch, nabbed the 2024 WSL wildcard, and an invite to this year’s Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational.
Let’s not forget that he managed to get the Surf Ranch and Surf Abu Dhabi up and running in under a decade. And now, the latest from the greatest? A children’s book about surfing called Keep Our Beaches Clean! What if Everyone Did That?
Di Angelo Publications announced the book in the post above and captioned it:
“Keep Our Beaches Clean. Ms. Keyser and her second-grade class have lived their entire lives alongside beaches and oceans, and their passion for taking care of the environment they love has spurred the creation of this book.
“Influenced and motivated by role model @kellyslater, they have all contributed to doing their part to help raise awareness and action with keeping their beaches clean.
“In this book, you will see how every choice you make on the beach affects it, and how we can all do our part to help keep it clean. Order your copy today at dapbooks.shop.”
According to the publisher’s website:
“In this simple and creative book, created by a passionate class of second graders and in collaboration with professional surfer Kelly Slater, we emphasize the importance of taking care of the beaches and oceans we live near.”
The book’s available for pre-order now and is set to be released on April 16.
