Quiksilver’s new film, “Washed,” doesn’t let off the gas from the first wave to the closing credits. Featuring perhaps the best team in surf today, the 30-minute movie is an ode to when surf films were fast, radical and unapologetic. With stand-out performances by Griffin Colapinto, Kanoa Igarashi, Al Cleland, Jackson Bunch Rio Waida and many more, it’s a pulse-racing look at where performance surfing stands today. In a full-on tour de force, Mikey Wright’s section is especially jaw-dropping and an iron-fisted reminder that the man belongs free in the ocean and wilderness and not confined to a jersey.
And now you’re invited to enjoy the film with its stars. Coming to the Rivian Theater in Laguna Beach on June 12, if you’re in the zone and want to see what all the fuss is about, go ahead and sign up for your FREE ticketshere.
Don’t lag, the show will sellout quickly, and you’re not going to want to miss the after party featuring a panel discussion with Wright Colapinto, Igarashi, Cleland, Mignot and Bunch, as well as co-stars Lungi Slabb, Kauli Vaast, Kael Walsh, Andy Nieblas, Rolo Montes and Hughie Vaughan. It’s going to be a packed house and great chance to hang with some of your favorite surfers. We’ll see you at the show!
