Koa Rothman’s adventures in Australia continue.
Just a few days ago we saw him scoring a right-hand point break in Oz. Now we get to see him do it again in the latest edit on his YouTube channel titled, “HUNTING PSYCHO WAVES IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!”
This time, friends from the North Shore join him for cold water, too much coffee, dodging “suicidal kangaroos,” and of course, perfect waves.
Rothman captioned the vid:
“Big thanks to @quiksilver for all the gear! What a wild Australian adventure this was, Lots of driving and lots of waves!”
Early on in the video, an overly caffeinated Rothman predicts what’s ahead.
“It looks like we’re going to score some very remote, really, really, sick slabs for about two weeks straight. It’s gonna be insane,” he said. “These waves are crazy looking. I’m just excited to get back on the road and score again.”
After a really long drive, nearly running out of gas, an overnight stay, and pondering sharks’ favorite color, the boys do what they came to do—score perfect surf.
“The waves are absolutely firing. We just pulled up to the craziest right-hand point break I’ve ever seen,” Rothman said upon arrival at a surf spot. “We’re gonna go surf.”
