Some might think bodyboarders have it easy, compared to surfers.
For one, they don’t have to stand up. But surfers’ prone-riding brethren charge. They ride waves that surfers can’t. Big, scary, mutant, slabbing, dry reef waves.
Not waves like Nazaré in Portugal.
But with all this talk about world records recently at Nazaré, one bodyboarder has joined the conversation – and it’s not likely that he has much competition.
Meet Pedro Levi, and watch his potential record-breaking wave above.

With determination in his heart and a bodyboard under his arm, Pedro embarked on a quest not just for personal glory, but to etch his name in the annals of history by attempting to ride the biggest wave ever on a bodyboard.
“Nazaré, a name that resonates with power and majesty among the big wave community, served as the arena for Pedro’s daring attempt.
