It’s one thing to win your first Championship Tour contest in only your fourth attempt.
And it’s another to do it against your childhood best friend, who also happens to be the current CT rankings leader.
For Cole Houshmand, the reality of his first big win at Bells over Griffin Colapinto must exceed even his wildest dreams. To take out Medina, Ewing, and Griff in the same event? He couldn’t have asked for anything more.
In the edit above, from the Cola Bros, we get a behind-the-scenes look at Griffin, Crosby, Cole, and Kade’s run through Bells. While Griffin already has a CT win this year (in Portugal), Bells was the 2% Crew’s most successful overall start on the CT. Not only did Houshmand and Griff make the final, but Kade made the quarters, and Crosby made the round of 16. (And with the way he was surfing, if not for matching up against Griff, he likely would have made it a lot further.)
Aside from the surfing, click play for a Colapinto family dance off, early am rap battles, and other endearing insight that will leave you an even bigger fan of Griff and the 2% Crew, if that’s even possible.
