Watching Ben Gravy’s vlogs are always a good time.
That’s not surprising since his goal in life is to spread joy and happiness wherever he goes.
In his latest adventure, Gravy manages to have a good time and spread joy, with a couple of serious moments along the way.
Gravy captioned the video above:
“My VLOG’s are usually fun filled & joy driven, but today we come across some pretty heavy situations. The wild fires on Maui & after spending a very happy few days with Skudin Surf we ended up happening upon a dead whale floating offshore after we had just caught some waves.”
“This is a truly tragic situation & I hope that something changes. Until then please donate, share or simply pray for Maui & tat our sea life will stop dying, because of decisions that we make. Thank you for your time & thanks for watching. – Ben”
Gravy joins other prominent surfers and waterman coming forward to support Maui wildfire survivors. At the start of the video before the surfing begins, the novelty wave rider extends his condolences and asks viewers to donate, if they can.
He recommends New York For Maui as a great organization to support to help Maui recover.
Gravy admits he’s a bit bummed about the dead whale and says he’s more about good vibes.
“I truly believe that my job in life as a human being is to spread joy and just bring happiness wherever I go, and I try to do that every single day,” he said.
Don’t worry, Ben. You brought some joy to our day.
