Should the WSL hire this guy?
No, we’re not talking about Dane Reynolds. He’s been there and done that already.
We’re referring to the guy that narrates this clip live standing next to Reynolds’ filmer Hunter Martinez.
While the narrator obviously knows nothing about surfing, there’s something endearing listening him try to call the action. While it’s a far cry from the WSLs polished rhetoric, it’s kinda fun. I mean, how many times can we hear about surfers just “getting their feet in the wax”?
This dude talks about surfing in a wildly different way, saying things like “look at this guy, he’s going off, he’s gonna lip it,” and “only the hombres come out when it’s big.”
