A massive, messy, dangerous swell (and storm) is currently slamming Hawaii. Two surf contests – The Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational, and the World Surf League’s Hurley Pro Sunset Beach – have been called off. Too big, too jumbled, too sketchy.
However, that doesn’t mean people aren’t surfing. And so, thanks to the folks at Salt + Air Studios, they’re streaming all the action from big-wave paddle surfing at Waimea Bay on Oahu to tow surfing Pe’ahi on Maui. Tune in to the live webcast above.
