We’re big fans of the surfing that Jack Freestone, Josh Kerr, Asher Pacey and Victor Bernardo are doing on Matt Parker’s Album surfboards.
Below is exhibit 100 why.
In “Variables”, Pacey and Bernardo put a few of Parker’s favorite shapes through the paces in Mexico, and the resulting film is a beautiful thing.
“One of the things I love about riding different boards and trying different things is the excitement and anticipation that you get,” says Parker in the short film above. “The chase that we’re always gonna continue looking for and hunting for. Those new experiences, those new feelings, those different variables…you enjoy the feeling of the speed and how it turns and how it moves though the water. It totally sparks an idea of how you can manipulate that…what other feeling you can grow and expand on, and that’s the joy and the goal, always.”
As far as we can tell, it’s working: Album surfboards is transforming your favorite surfers’ surfing, one twin-fin at a time.
