Quiksilver’s Surf Festival France was, by all accounts, the best surf contest of the year, according to our own Zander Morton.
He was right. Earlier this month, the invite-only competition paired teams of two against each other in Hossegor in totally pumping surf.
Each heat had a theme to tackle, such as best airs and barrels, best combos, biggest turns, and a twin fin challenge.
The all-star team lineup included brother and sister combo Mason and Coco Ho, father and daughter Josh and Sierra Kerr, father and son Shane and Jackson Dorian, and several other ripper combos.
In the end, Frances’s Jeremy Flores and Tahitian Michel Bourez took the win.
Ho & Pringle Productions posted the edit above today, captioning it:
“Just got home from FRANCE! We went for the Quiksilver Festival, a week-long celebration of surf, music, skate and art – with a star-studded competition that turns normal events upside down and adds some fun.
