This clip rules.
Partly because it features the three best freesurfers in the world today surfing in the same place at the same time. A rarity in itself.
But also because it’s filmed in relatable waves. Rather than Pipeline, Desert Point, or some slab in West Oz (the usual jaunts for Mason Ho, Clay Marzo, and Noa Deane), this clip is from an average shorebreak in France on a stormy, onshore day. While this 8-minute edit has as many closeouts as it does actual keeper surf clips, it’s still enjoyable watching our favorite surfers navigate a challenging, chunky day in the southwest of France.
Oh, and who knew Noa Deane twilighted as a boogieboarder?
As you’ll see, he’s better off sticking to his day job.
