Jacob “Zeke” Szekely likes to have a good time.
He says what he wants. He seems to do what he wants. Oh, and he sure as hell rips, particularly, in wave pools. He’s even been crowned “the king of wave pool surfing.” By who? Well, himself. And Kelly Slater.
During a recent trip to the North Shore, Zeke shredded the usual spots and made it out of the country to Oahu’s new(ish) wave pool, The Lineup at Wai Kai.
Zeke dropped the vlog above yesterday and captioned it:
“Hawaii’s new wave pool is insane!!
“We scored insane waves all over the island, ENJOY THE VID! YEWW!”
“We Scored some insane waves on the North Shore after a sick Wavepool Session at the Lineup in WaiKai! Enjoy the Vid Ya’ll️ Keep it OTC”
Zeke opens the edit by saying:
“Happy holidays guys, we have an action-packed video in store for you guys today. It’s a long one but it’s an absolute banger. We got to surf Hawaii’s new wave pool, we scored firing Velzyland with Ben Gravy and then we surfed all-time Sunset Beach with all the world tour surfers.”
From there, it’s pretty much the itinerary Zeke described. He shreds Wai Kai with his “ultimate wave pool board,” then surfs the North Shore with Ben Gravy.
In a recent social media post, Zeke made the claim:
“In Case You Guys Forgot, I’m Still the King of This WavePool Shit👑 I’ve Landed 3 NBD’s & Surfed 9 Different WavePools Around the World! I’ll Smoke Anybody in any WavePool, Anytime Any Place! Here’s just a couple Clips I Found to showcase my Point👊⛓️ #KingofWaco #OTC”
Now the “king” has conquered Wai Kai.
