Bronson Meydi is the future of surfing. Period.
Born in Lakey Peak but now living in Bali, Meydi is fulfilling his potential as one of the best young surfers in the world. And he’s definitely the most exciting. Every time he takes off he goes full tilt, launching full rotations off sections that he has no business even hitting. Like Filipe Toledo, Meydi has that unique ability to fly off heavy sections and spend so much time spinning above the lip that he actually avoids landing in bad situations. Watching Meydi surf feels like you have a Playstation controller in your hands — smashing random buttons and watching your character fly.
