Morocco has a lot of waves, and even more surfers.
So, when Juliette Lacome decided to fly south from France for some long right points, she knew exactly who to call to dial her in: Othmane Choufani.
In the edit above, Choufani and Lacome navigate sponges, speedbumps, and fairly hectic lineups during a small swell at Morocco’s most popular haunts.
As you’ll see, surfing is getting more and more popular in Morocco, and when the surf is only 3- to- 4 feet, everyone is out.
When it’s double that size and rifling down the point?
While the waves are quite average (by Morocco’s standards anyway), the pair manage to stack 3 minutes of clips on rippable, head high rights. While the crowds look intense, theres no better tour guide than Choufani, and he rolls out the red carpet for his good friend.
